Vehicles can be added to a MyGeotab database one at a time or in bulk. This guide will walk you through both methods.
Adding a Single Vehicle
Note: Before adding a vehicle, ensure you have the GO device's serial number ready. The serial number is 12 characters long and contains both letters and numbers. If the serial number is already in the database, you will receive an error message.
Navigate to Vehicles
In your MyGeotab dashboard, navigate to the Vehicles section in the left menu.

Click Add, then Add device
Look for the Add button, then select Add device from the dropdown menu.

Enter device information
Enter the GO device's serial number without dashes and add a vehicle description. The serial number is 12 characters long and contains both letters and numbers.

Click OK
After entering the required information, click OK to proceed.
Save your changes
On the Vehicle Edit page, click the Save changes button at the top to complete the process and add the vehicle to your database.

Success! Vehicles Added
The vehicles list now shows your newly added vehicles
Success: All new devices have been added to your vehicle list. You can now see them in your vehicles database and begin tracking their data.
